The fifth edition of the Angola International Mining Fair (FIMA) is due to take place from the 24th to 27th of April, in the capital city at the Luanda International Fair (FILDA) venue, This is according to a recent statement made available by the organisers of the fair.
The annual fair is organised by FIL in partnership with the Ministry of Mining and Geology of Angola. The mining show is expected to draw local and international exhibitors from other sectors outside mining which includes financial services and peripheral industries to the mining sector.
This year the fair’s organisers plan to set up a general vision and direction in line with their theme so as to make clear the sector’s main strategies.
“After the success of the 4th edition we have the responsibility this year of presenting more attractive prospects in terms of the mining sector and diversification of the Angolan economy, with a focus on the industries that spin off from the mining sector,” said FIL.
