Up-to-the-minute Zambian emerald ring designed in aid of Nkana clinic

Actress and new mum Mila Kunis has collaborated with Gemfields and Italian Jeweller Marina B in creating a Zambian emerald ring that will honor mother hood as well as raise funds for Lufwanyama`s Nkana Health Centre.

Gemfields Chief Executive Officer Ian Harebottle says as leading suppliers of responsibly sourced Gemstones, the ring has been crafted in 18K yellow Gold, featuring a Gemfield Zambian emerald from the Kagem Mine in Lufwanyama with the signature Marina B.

Harebottle says having worked with Marina B, a heritage brand with exceptional craftsmanship and an exciting new direction on previous collection of emerald jewellery, the ring offers a modern design at a more accessible rice point.

“It was only natural that we would collaborate on a piece for our brand ambassador Kunis as she starts her journey into motherhood, “he says adding that not only is the ring beautiful but it furthers commitment to social responsibility.

And Chief Executive Officer for Marina B expressed happiness that the ring will introduce the iconic Marina B style to a new generation saying that while they created it for Kunis in celebration of Wyatt`s arrival, it’s a kind of ring that any woman can wear.

All profits will from the sales of the U$$4,800 ring will be donated to the Nkana Health Centre in Zambia where the Gemfields Mine is located.

Funds will be used to upgrade the hospital`s facility and build a dedicated maternity centre and that the ring is available by order at Marina B`s 57th Street flagship boutique in New York.
