New high-grade zone identified at Mumbezhi

Prospect Resources has announced positive assay results for the Nyungu Central and Kabikupa deposits, from its recently completed Phase 2 drill programme at the Mumbezhi Copper Project.

“Mumbezhi continues to deliver scale potential, with the shallow intersection returned at the southern end of the Nyungu Central deposit in NCDD021 delivering substantial prospectivity for high-grade, near-surface tonnage growth into next year.

“Whilst we have completed our drilling activities for 2025, we have a substantial pipeline of residual drill hole assays, pulp sample results and soil sample data to be returned over the next two months,” said Prospect’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer,  Sam Hosack.

According to the company, the pending results are set to inform both our MRE update in Q1 2026 as well as overall planning for our drilling and exploration activities next year.

“Building on this strong foundation now amplified by the positive momentum generated from our recent AEM geophysical targeting results, we are well positioned to create significant value in 2026.”

In addition, new shallow high-grade drilling results from Nyungu Central Prospect has received further significant drill assays from three holes completed at Nyungu Central during the Phase 2 diamond drilling programme aimed at extending the existing Indicated and

Meanwhile the latter part of this work focused on the under-drilled area at the southern end of the existing MRE, where copper mineralisation surfaces up plunge before being terminated or offset on an east-southeast trending fault.
