African Copper V Conference

Africa’s copper potential continues to hold the interest of the global mining community. Zambia and DRC are striving to meet higher production targets and supply is growing in countries such as Botswana and Namibia. Progress is being made to overcome the logistical, infrastructure, political and social hurdles, and – despite the risks – investment interest is on the increase. Conference speakers will include senior representatives from the Ministry for Mines, Energy and Water Development – Zambia, Ministry of Mines – DRC, ChinaAfrica Merchants Advisors Ltd (CAMAL), Rand Merchant Bank, Norwegian Embassy in Lusaka, Ivanhoe Mines Ltd, LME, Standard Bank, SMS Group, Zambia Railways Ltd, North West Rail Zambia, Walvis Bay Corridor Group, ZESCO and Golder Associates Zambia Ltd.
