South Africa’s mineral resources minister Gwede Mantashe is billed to open the 25th Annual Investing in African Mining Indaba.
The event is the world’s largest gathering of mining’s most influential stakeholders and decision-makers vested in African mining.
According to the organisers government will engage delegates on South Africa as a competitive and investor-friendly destination that offers a unique combination of highly developed economic infrastructure and a vibrant emerging-market economy with sustainable investment opportunities.
Some of South African government’s activities at the 2019 Indaba include minister Mantashe signing mining leadership compact with Mining Leadership Forum.
